LET’S ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS
How Long Does the DELTA Portable Power Station Last?
The runtime depends on a wide variety of factors, including:
- The model of DELTA you're using (Mini, Max, or Pro)
- How many devices or appliances you’re charging
- The wattage required to power said devices and appliances
Although the DELTA series comes equipped with numerous ports enabling you to charge multiple devices/appliances, the charge will deplete faster the more devices you connect. Regardless, you should expect your DELTA to provide hours of backup power.
How Long Will a DELTA Run a Refrigerator?
The DELTA series can run a refrigerator anywhere from 5.4 to 24 hours. The runtime depends on the DELTA PPS model's capacity and your refrigerator’s wattage. You’ll also need to factor in the watts used to start the appliance. Assuming your refrigerator uses 120W, the DELTA Mini (882Wh) will run it for 5.4 hours, DELTA (1260Wh) for 7.5 hours, DELTA Max (2016Wh) for 14 hours, DELTA Pro (3600Wh) for 24 hours, and the DELTA 2 for 7-14 hours.
Can the DELTA Power a TV?
The DELTA range is our most powerful and can power a television for 5.4 to 27 hours. The runtime depends on the PPS capacity and TV wattage. For a 50” TV that uses 110W, the DELTA Mini (882Wh) can run the television for 5.4 hours, DELTA (1260Wh) for 8 hours, DELTA Pro (3600Wh) for 27 hours, and the DELTA 2 for 8 hours. Always double-check the relevant wattage on your TV before making a purchase.
What Is the Lifespan of a DELTA Portable Power Station?
The DELTA range is the most powerful we offer at EcoFlow, lasting anywhere from 800 to 6500 cycles, depending on the battery. The DELTA Mini, DELTA, and DELTA Max use lithium-ion or NCM Li-ion batteries, which run for 800 cycles to 80% capacity. The DELTA Pro features a robust LFP battery, which lasts 6500 cycles before reaching 50% original capacity. With this many cycles, you can expect your DELTA PPS to last for several years.
Should I Leave My EcoFlow DELTA Plugged in All the Time?
You shouldn't leave any electrical appliance plugged in for extended periods, especially if you leave it unattended. This advice isn't exclusive to EcoFlow power stations either! It is doubtful you’ll ever encounter a safety issue with our power stations, but if you keep them permanently plugged in, you increase the fire risk.
Is the EcoFlow DELTA Portable Power Station Worth the Money
If you value constantly having a backup power source and a resource you can take anywhere with you, yes, it is! Our power stations keep you connected for longer. Such a reliable power source is priceless. In addition, EcoFlow technology lets you achieve higher energy capacity at a lower cost, thanks to the efficiency of lithium-ion and LFP batteries. These batteries last years, ensuring this is one investment you won’t regret.
Can the DELTA Power a Heater?
Yes, provided that the heater you want to power doesn't exceed the wattage provided by your DELTA unit. The average heater uses 1500W, meaning the DELTA Max (2016Wh) and DELTA Pro (3600Wh) provide more than enough capacity to run your heater and keep you warm for a few hours.
What Type of Battery Does the DELTA Use?
The EcoFlow DELTA range uses lithium-ion or LFP batteries. We use these batteries because they are powerful, reliable, and provide far more charges than those used in competitive models. The DELTA Mini, DELTA, and DELTA Max use lithium-ion or NCM-ion batteries. The DELTA Pro features our new LFP battery for longer-lasting, safe, and more efficient backup energy.
How Many Solar Panels Does It Take to Charge the DELTA?
Due to the DELTA range's power, it could take up to three 160W solar panels to reach full charge. However, given the power output any of our DELTA range can give you in return, this is a small price. Additionally, you can use solar panels to recharge the PPS throughout the day at no cost, utilizing an entirely free, renewable power source (the sun!).
